[JOB] Communications Manager
Food Secure Canada is seeking a creative and experienced Communications Manager to support the organization in effectively communicating its mission by engaging diverse audiences, including FSC’s networks and allies. The Communications Manager will be responsible for managing our websites, social media, awareness campaigns, and events in both French and English. The ideal candidate is passionate about the power of social change, is a creative problem-solver, understands the constantly evolving nature of advocacy work, and thrives in working autonomously with the support of a small team.
This position is a unique opportunity to work with a national organization with over 20 years of history, as well as to collaborate with community leaders and government representatives across the country on issues of healthy and sustainable food for all.
Position Details:
- Full-time position: 4 days per week
- Possibility of transitioning to 5 days per week with additional tasks defined according to skills and experience
- Salary: Starting at $39,040 – $43,200, based on experience, plus a competitive benefits plan
