Become a Member

Membership is an important part of Food Secure Canada.

The purpose of membership is to support the food movement in terms of the governance of our organization according to our bylaws. There are also many other ways to get involved with and support our work. Examples include being involved in campaigns, becoming a subscriber or a financial supporter, including through FSC’s ongoing collaboration with the People’s Food Institute.

If you would like voting rights at the Annual General Meetings, Special Meetings and online elections, you have to be a Food Secure Canada member in good standing.

You must formally notify us of your choice to become a member by filling out the forms below AND have made an annual financial contribution as per the guidelines below (i.e. pay what you can). Membership fees should not be a barrier in any way; this is why the amounts below are provided as suggestions only. You will then have the right to vote in elections for board members and on Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Special Meeting resolutions.
