FSC is looking for new office space
Food Secure Canada is beginning to sprout... and very much needs new fertile ground! We are looking to move into new office space in Montreal as soon as possible. Our needs are:
- capacity for 10 people
- access to a meeting room and a kitchen
- shared space and closed offices
- in Montreal
- ... and if you have a small garden in the backyard, we all have a green thumb!

Choosing to rent your office to FSC means providing shelter to our advocacy activities for healthy, just and sustainable food for all. Food Secure Canada is a pan-Canadian alliance of organizations and individuals working together to advance food security and food sovereignty through three inter-locking goals: zero hunger, healthy and safe food, and sustainable food systems. Our financial capacities?
At FSC, we accomplish great things with few funds and plenty of work! As an organization living on donations and grants, our budget is limited. Thus, our monthly budget allocated to rent cannot exceed $1,500.
Where?
FSC has its office in Montreal and we wish to stay in this energitic city, in particular in one of the following neighbourhoods: Ville-Marie, Plateau Mont-Royal or Rosemont La Petite Patrie.
What kind of space (size, capacity...)?
We are a team of 6 employees, soon welcoming at least 3 more. We therefore need space for about 10 people (could be divided in 3 rooms with room for 3 people in each).
