Nunavut Food Security Coalition: Annual Report 2012-13

From the local to the international scale, 2012-2013 brought much attention to the critical issue of food insecurity in Nunavut. As a result, improving food security has increasingly become both a political and public priority, with government departments, Inuit organizations, non-governmental organizations, the private sector, and Nunavummiut working toward a common vision of a food secure Nunavut. Recent activism has built momentum on food security in Nunavut and has provided a greater sense of purpose to the work of the Nunavut Food Security Coalition.
