Join the Canada Organic Trade Association for their 6th Annual Parliament Day
This year marks COTA’s 10 year anniversary. What better excuse to organize our biggest and best Policy Conference and Lobby Day yet!
On Tuesday October 17th, 2017, COTA will host its annual Policy Conference at the Lord Elgin Hotel (100 Elgin Street). The Conference will include a range of plenary and break-out sessions presented by industry leaders on issues affecting the organic industry. It promises to be an informative and engaging discussion. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
The Policy Conference will be followed by a team photo and the Organically Yours Parliamentary Reception in the Wellington Building where Conference participants can share a drink with MPs and colleagues.
The next day, Wednesday October 18th, we host our annual Lobby Day once again. Storming the Hill in coordinated teams, we will voice our concerns and celebrate our achievements in meetings with MPs. Organic products continue to rise in popularity, and this is a critical time for the growth of the industry. We have the ear of government, now is the time to make our asks and encourage greater government support of the sector!
