Queen Elizabeth School students take on food security issues

Chatham Daily News

DIANA MARTIN: There are times in life when the simple act of caring can be a catalyst for something bigger.

And so it was when the students of Jennifer Kranenburg's challenge-based class tackled the issue of food security in their own backyards head-on.

“It matters to my students. They understand it because they're living it,” said Kranenburg of the Queen Elizabeth II Public School Grade 2-3 class.
