A call for a National Poverty Plan. This October, for the third year in a row, communities across Canada are calling for a national Anti-Poverty Plan to end poverty and hunger for the almost 900,000 people in Canada who use food banks each month and the millions of others struggling to get by. On October 17th, the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, ChewOnThis! will celebrate with an online event showcasing photos from events from coast-to-coast-to-coast.
