Nourish is a new initiative that seeks to answer the question: How can food in healthcare enhance the patient experience, institutional culture and community well-being? 25 selected health care innovators from across the country have been selected for a two-year program that will reimagine the role of food in health care, and the role of health care in sustainable food systems. The Nourish cohort has identified five priority areas of work and learning for a Spring webinar series. The second webinar of this series, presented on Wednesday, March 29 @2pm EST, will focus on how reconciliation fits into the work of strengthening the connection between food, culture, and health. This webinar will hear from Indigenous leaders and leaders delivering traditional food programs with and for First Nation communities.
Nourish is a collaboration led by the J.W. McConnell Family Foundation with early partners including Food Secure Canada.
