Write to your elected MP as part of our post ETV letter campaign!

Writing a letter to your MP is the first step to getting government to hear your concerns and collaborate in your work towards building a healthier, more just and sustainable food system.

As part of our post Eat Think Vote campaign, we have created a template letter for each of the main political parties that community organizations can use to develop or solidify their relationship with their elected federal representative.

We can provide $100 honoraria to organizations who wish to take part in this initiative. There are no specific criteria — you simply have to abide by two core principles of our Eat Think Vote campaign: respect and non-partisanship. We also invite you to send us your final letter for review prior to sending it to your MP should you wish to be eligible for the honorarium.

Be sure to contact us at campaign@foodsecurecanada.org if you are interested in joining the movement, would like to send your final letter for review, to receive an honorarium to offset costs or if you have any additional questions.

*Please note that there is a limited number of honoraria available. As such, organizations will be selected on a first-come-first-serve basis.
