Farewell Jennifer!

Over the past 5 years, Jennifer Reynolds has been a key member of the Food Secure Canada team, heading up key projects and events, acting as a policy expert and as a project coordinator.

With the Institutional Food Program and Nourish project, she worked with institutions and the supply chain to increase local, sustainable and healthy food on the public plate. She spearheaded the process of public consultations ahead of the national food policy, overseeing dozens of community events where Canadians were able to share their vision for the country’s first food policy. 

She contributed to countless other projects and events, contributing her expertise on local food systems, sustainability, and procurement. We thank Jennifer for her hard work, knack for thinking outside of the box, and enduring commitment to rebuilding the food system. We wish her the best as she moves on to work on the Nourish project full-time, supported by the McConnell Foundation.
