Time to table an overarching national food policy

Organic or local, vegetarian or spicy, slow or fast: we each have a personal food policy. How we eat reflects who we are and speaks to our health, ethical and cultural priorities.
As a country, then, it seems logical that we prioritize food. Yet despite a host of urgent food issues, Canada continues to lack a national food policy.
