Prior to UN Special Rapporteur on Right to Food's visit
Prior to his visit in Canada, Food Secure Canada helped to brief the UN Special Rapporteur on the Right to Food, Olivier De Schutter, by writing a joint submission on the issues we were concerned about. During his visit, we organized multiple meetings with civil society groups in Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa and Winnipeg, providing direct access to the UN for communities fighting for the right to food in Canada.
