As part of Food Secure Canada's Sustainable Northern Food Systems Study, we are conducting a survey to identify and map key assets and infrastructre that make up Northern food systems (e.g., farms, food businesses and retailers, processing facilities, distribution hubs, education and training programs, community kitchens etc). The survey should take between 10-15 min to complete and your participation is completely confidential.

For more background information on the survey and how the data will be used click here. The survey is co-hosted by the Arctic Institute of Community-Based Research along with several other community and academic collaborators.

The purpose of the overall study is to synthesize research and knowledge on thestate of food systems and food security in the North, and to identify concrete policy and program recommendations that work towards vibrant, resilient and sustainable food systems in the North.  The study is being conducted in partnership with our community collaborators: the Arctic Institute of Community Based Research, Ecology North and the Northern Farm Training Institute. The study is funded by Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada.
