We are thrilled to invite you to a Webinar on National Food Policy for Food Secure Canada Organizational Members to be held on March 14th from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm (EST).

As many of you know, after years of lobbying, our federal government has mandated the creation of a National Food Policy. This is a very important moment for all of us in the food movement. We have been planning our strategy and meeting with the government, and we have news to share.

Following the many discussions we had on this topic at our Assembly, we look forward to talking with you about next steps:

• FSC’s National Food Policy public engagement plan which will involve:
  
  - a series of Recipe for a Good Food System events across the country,
  
  - a policy paper guiding us towards a more healthy, sustainable and equitable food system
  
  - some innovative food policy dialogues with representatives from different sectors.
• What we know of government plans so far.
