New Year's Resolution for 2015 - I will become an FSC Member!

3 good reasons to join Canada's national food movement and help us create just, healthy and sustainable food systems:

  • Because all Canadians have the right to good food, especially during the holidays.
  • To share a healthy meal, made with local ingredients is a present for the body and mind.
  • Because when we choose to buy local, we encourage the local economy.

For just $35, you can become a member of FSC (or you could offer it as a holiday gift to friends or family).

8th ASSEMBLY: PROCEEDINGS

We are excited to be able to share some more detailed proceedings of the bi-annual Assembly held last month in Halifax. Thank you to all of the volunteer note-takers, presenters and participants who shared in the discussions for this early holiday present. This information is a great roadmap for intensifying our collective work in 2015.

HOW DO OUR ORGANIZATIONAL MEMBERS SEE US?

Several months ago we consulted our organizational members to gather their feedback on FSC and our potential direction forward. The research shed light on why they are currently members, and what they are interested in for future priorities. The results are now available. As a next step we will be surveying other partners and our individual members. Stay tuned!
