Thank You Amanda

Amanda Sheedy, FSC’s Director of Development and Engagement, is moving on from her role with us. Her work has been instrumental not only in advancing the work of FSC, but also in strengthening Canada’s food movement.

Amanda coordinated the People’s Food Policy Project, which culminated in the publication of Resetting the Table and provided civil society with an important voice on food policy. She has since created and strengthened various FSC networks, including the Northern network and the Coalition for Healthy School Food. Her work has been instrumental not only in advancing the work of FSC, but also in strengthening Canada’s food movement. We will miss Amanda dearly but have no doubt that she will bring her intelligence, collaborative spirit and passion to all future endeavours.
