April 17 - 21 - European voices against Canada-Europe free trade

There will be events April 17-21 in Halifax, Ottawa, Montreal and Toronto with reps from Via Campesina, Attac-France and Public Services International , speaking about farming, GMOs and trade. The Canada-Europe Free Trade Agreement negotiations in Ottawa form an attack on Canadian and European farmers and the right to save seed!

The tour is presented by Trade Justice Network (info@tradejustice.ca  ) The Trade Justice Network is comprised of a number of environmental and civil society organizations as well as trade unions that have come together to challenge the scope and process of the Canada European Union free trade negotiations, and to highlight the need for a more sustainable, equitable and socially just international trade regime.
